“Altitude” is a tower-like nature center and waypoint located within the Radrick Forest in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Designed in accordance with the layers of the forest ecosystem, users are able to see the unique wildlife that thrive at their specific level. The tower is descended via the “spine”, which doubles as a backbone for the extruding spaces. Complete with a library, dark and light exhibits, and a cafe, this center serves the entire local community of students, families, and explorers looking for a place to learn before they explore on their own.
